I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to the Roong Aroon International School Community! It is certainly an honour and a privilege to be Head of School at such a wonderful place. Roong Aroon International School is moving into a new era of education taking holistic and experiential learning to the next level. There will be a strong focus on Project-Based and Inquiry-Based Learning which will help students develop a superb sense of reasoning and critical thinking skills.
The subjects we offer in our IB Middle Years Program will help give students distinct advantages by nurturing curiosity and guiding students through the stages of personal and academic improvement. Our IB Career-Related Programme helps set up students for academic success by allowing them to explore university subject areas and discover their true talents and interests and our IB Diploma Programme helps set up students for academic success so they can find success getting into university.
Students at RAIS can expect a unique, student-centered learning experience that focuses on hands-on activities that will help students reach their fullest potential. At RAIS, students experience a transformative learning process that helps them develop a deep understanding of our common humanity and values, to cultivate and live a meaningful and purposeful life as independent, reflective and active citizens.To everyone in the Roong Aroon International School Community, I am looking forward to working with all of you as we move forward in developing RAIS into a school that offers an exclusive and exceptional learning experience to students.

School Overview
Roong Aroon International School, founded in 2019, is an expansion of Roong Aroon School, a well-established, holistically integrated school founded in 1997. The name “Roong Aroon” means “An education that shines on a virtuous path of life.” The School was conceived from the collaboration of the founding committees, led by Associate professor Prapapat Niyom, the Founder, and established under the “Roong Aroon School foundation”.
Our School is a non-profit organization, our purpose of lifelong, holistic, and transformative learning is to develop a deep understanding of our common humanity and values and to cultivate and live a meaningful and purposeful life as independent, reflective, and active citizens.
Students from Roong Aroon International School transcend from being “one who knows” to being “one who is”. Community members are in the process of growth and development of mindful awareness practices, loving kindness, and wisdom. They are all involved in creating a school to be the Learning Community, collaboratively, and use knowledge when facing problems and finding solutions. They need to be selfless, and willing to make sacrifices for the greater benefit, the improvement of society, nature, and the environment.

Establishment of Roong Aroon International School
Roong Aroon International School is an expansion of Roong Aroon School.
It represents the expansion of Roong Aroon’s holistic education philosophy and offers the IB Education.
The school took a year to prepare, train the teachers, and develop a curriculum to open for the academic 2020 – 2021
January, 2022
IB-MYP Authorization
We received authorization from the International Baccalaureate Organisation to offer their Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grade 6 to Grade 10.
August, 2022
IB-CP Authorization
In the same year, we received authorization from the International Baccalaureate (IB) to offer the Career-related Programme for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students.
July, 2024
IB-DP Authorization
We achieved authorization as an IB Diploma Programme school.
This accreditation is the result of our ongoing commitment to providing a high-quality education.

Roong Aroon develops education, which means it develops invaluable human resources for the development of our country.
